The ideal candidate will support daily office operations, assist legal staff, and ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys and legal secretaries as needed; Proofread letters, briefs and client documents; Organize physical and digital files; Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries; Perform data entry, scanning, copying, and filing; Answer and direct phone calls and take accurate messages; Order and maintain office supplies and inventory; Assure kitchen and conference rooms remain clean and stocked with supplies; Prepare conference rooms for client meetings, depositions, etc.; Assist with conference and/or seminar preparation (gather equipment for booths, track items needed and/or taken to conferences/seminars, etc.); Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or administrative training preferred Prior office or administrative experience preferred; legal office experience a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfortable with office technology Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Exercise discretion with confidential information
