Libby Law Office, P.A. is seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy law office. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of paralegal experience, with a background in civil litigation and real estate, along with strong administrative and technology skills. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation, including case preparation, pleadings, discovery, document management, and trial preparation. Prepare and assist with real estate documents, including deeds, easements, conveyances, and related filings. Conduct and organize legal and property-related research. Assist with drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documents and correspondence. Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and other case-related administrative tasks. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, title companies, and other third parties. Provide office management and administrative support, including scheduling, organization, and general office operations. Assist with electronic filing and maintaining accurate digital and physical files. Utilize technology to improve efficiency and organization within the office. Perform other duties as assigned to support the attorneys and overall operation of the firm.
Qualifications Required:
3+ years of experience working as a paralegal. Experience in civil litigation. Experience with real estate matters, deed preparation, and recording of deeds. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, polished work. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals.
Preferred:
Experience with law office management or administrative responsibilities. Familiarity with electronic court filing systems. Experience with legal practice-management or document-management software. Strong interest and aptitude for learning new technology and legal software.
