About us Ojala-Barbour Law Firm is an immigration law firm in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We represent clients in immigration court, and in applications for citizenship, permanent residence, asylum, and other benefits with USCIS. We have clients from all over the world, though many of our clients speak Spanish. We're looking for a Spanish or Somali Speaking Legal Assistant to help support our immigration law firm's team. The ideal candidate has fluency in speaking Spanish or Somali and in English, a bachelor's degree, and strong writing skills. The responsibilities of the position include a balance of legal casework and administrative responsibilities. The legal casework includes communicating and meeting with clients to prepare immigration cases. The administrative responsibilities include helping a team of other legal assistants to answer phones, set up meetings and consultations, and track deadlines for cases. Willing to negotiate rate of pay depending on experience.
