Paralegal with a background in personal injury law and the ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can successfully manage a high-volume caseload from intake through trial preparation. This role requires exceptional organization, initiative, attention to detail, and strong client-facing professionalism.
Core Paralegal Responsibilities:
Client Communication, medical records request, etc. Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial while tracking deadlines and litigation milestones. Serve as a primary point of contact for English- and Spanish-speaking clients, providing updates and gathering case information. Prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, settlement demands, and trial materials with minimal supervision. Coordinate depositions, mediations, IMEs, hearings, and communications with courts, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
Required Skills:
Experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal). Proficiency with case-management software, Microsoft Office, and e-filing systems. Strong understanding of PI litigation procedures, medical terminology, and court rules. Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience & Education :
Experience supporting attorneys through trial. Familiarity with Missouri and Illinois PI litigation. Background in high-volume plaintiff-side practice.
