Job Description

Legal Assistant/Paralegal Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of legal support tasks, manage administrative functions, and ensure smooth daily operations within the legal department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in legal support and administrative duties to contribute to a dynamic legal environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal support, including preparing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and filings. Assist attorneys with case management, research, and document review to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage legal administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining case files, and tracking deadlines. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to draft documents, compile reports, and organize data efficiently. Support the preparation of pleadings, discovery materials, and other legal paperwork as needed. Coordinate communication between clients, courts, and internal teams to facilitate case progression. Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Qualifications Prior experience in legal administrative functions is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential for daily tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data management. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
