Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal We are seeking an experienced plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal to lead the pre-litigation side of our small firm. Reporting directly to the firm owner/attorney, this person will serve as the primary leader of the pre-litigation department and will be responsible for managing personal injury files from intake through demand and settlement. Client communication is a critical part of the role. The right candidate must be comfortable communicating regularly with clients, keeping them informed, and obtaining the information needed to move their cases forward. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the pre-litigation process, recognize what needs to be done, follow through, and keep cases progressing efficiently and confidently. Qualifications Significant plaintiff-side personal injury experience is required. Strong understanding of the personal injury medical and treatment process. Experience reviewing medical records with the ability to identify key information regarding diagnoses, treatment, causation, prior conditions, recommendations, referrals, and future care. Proficient in obtaining medical records and bills and following up on outstanding record requests. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a pre-litigation caseload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, case management software, and other common office technology. Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and take ownership of files. Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients.
