ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Notify claims administrator of insured litigation and provide the associated legal documents. Notify involved team members (i.e. drivers, managers, etc.) of the litigation and provide initial guidance. Monitor all due dates (answer, discovery, mediations, trials, etc.) and cases for resolution or defense assignment. Gather all relevant internal file materials and route to defense counsel. Assist leadership and defense counsel in coordinating discovery responses. Coordinate company representatives for mediations, trials, depositions, etc. Ensure that litigation data is accurate and current. Provide overflow assistance and administrative support for the department. Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned. All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) High level of proficiency with computers and office equipment Excellent communication and organization skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
