Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence Manage case files and maintain organized documentation through document management systems Assist attorneys with litigation preparation, including discovery and trial support Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases Provide executive administrative support as needed, including data entry and clerical tasks Review documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards Support various areas of law such as immigration law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, and workers' compensation law Collaborate with team members on project management tasks related to ongoing cases Experience Previous paralegal experience preferred Proficiency in legal case management software Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents Experience in legal administrative roles with a focus on organization and attention to detail Ability to perform transcription tasks accurately while maintaining confidentiality Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues
