Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee personal injury matters throughout the life of each case, from opening files and collecting information to supporting resolution efforts.
- Conduct intake conversations with prospective and current clients, provide timely updates, and help ensure a consistent and attentive client experience.
- Collect, examine, and organize key documentation such as treatment records, billing statements, incident reports, and other evidentiary materials.
- Prepare and send requests for records and supporting documents needed to strengthen claims and litigation files.
- Draft legal and case-related materials, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery documents, demand packages, and settlement-related submissions.
- Communicate with insurers, healthcare providers, expert consultants, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in active matters.
- Monitor filing dates, discovery obligations, and other critical deadlines while keeping case files accurate, complete, and current.
- Assist attorneys with litigation support by coordinating document production, preparing discovery materials, and helping organize trial-related tasks.
- Arrange depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings with clients and legal stakeholders to keep matters progressing efficiently.
- Maintain case management records and contribute to the continued development and strengthening of the firm's personal injury practice.
