This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping injured clients navigate the legal process. The successful candidate will have strong case management skills, excellent client communication abilities, and prior experience handling personal injury and/or workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution. Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury and workers' compensation matters. Order, review, organize, and summarize medical records and billing records. Review police reports, accident reports, medical documentation, insurance policies, wage records, and other case-related documents. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and developments. Track and docket critical deadlines, court dates, and statute of limitation requirements. Prepare correspondence, discovery responses, demand packages, and other legal documents. Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel. Assist attorneys with case preparation, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation. File documents electronically with courts and administrative agencies. Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with firm procedures. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in personal injury and/or workers' compensation law . Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of personal injury claims, workers' compensation procedures, medical records, and insurance documentation. Experience managing multiple deadlines and a high-volume caseload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
