Position Overview :
We are a well-established small law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation while treating every client with professionalism, compassion and respect. We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service. Applicants must be dependable, trustworthy and dedicated to promoting a positive and cooperative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel Manage appointment scheduling and maintain firm's calendar Communicate with clients regarding appointments, requested documents and case updates as directed Perform general clerical duties, including filing, file labeling, scanning, data entry and payment processing Assist with client inquiries and provide information as needed Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area File pleadings with courts through electronic filing systems Organize and maintain client files, both electronic and paper Draft routine correspondence and legal forms
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably legal setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel, Outlook), Adobe and office software, Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Join us if you're passionate about providing outstanding legal support while fostering a welcoming environment for clients and colleagues alike! Pay:
