Full Job Description Summary of Position:
Prepare and file Immigration applications and petitions with government agencies Assemble legal documents and packages Perform legal research as needed Provides administrative and legal support to an assigned lawyer to enhance effective case management Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars and meeting deadlines, documenting actions, inputting information into case management software, confirming case status with attorney Manages legal documentation and client correspondence in strict confidence Translates documents (English/Spanish) Meet with clients Required skills & knowledge: Immigration experience is a plus! We require successful applicants to be bilingual and be able to work 20-30 hours a week. The ideal candidate must be able to: Meet strict deadlines Be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully Provide outstanding client service Self-motivated with strong initiative Have a positive attitude & professional demeanor Knowledge required: Proficiency with Google docs, Word and Excel. Must have excellent writing and communication skills.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
