Triad Law Group is seeking an Estate Administration & Probate Paralegal to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our attorneys and clients through the estate administration and probate process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to manage multiple matters while providing exceptional client service. This role primarily supports our estate administration, probate, trust administration, and estate planning practice areas and serves as an important point of contact for clients navigating the loss of a loved one. Responsibilities Estate Administration & Probate Assist attorneys with probate and estate administration matters from opening through closing Prepare and file probate court documents, petitions, inventories, accountings, and related pleadings Coordinate with clerks of court, financial institutions, beneficiaries, creditors, and other third parties Gather and organize asset information and supporting documentation Assist with trust administration matters and related correspondence Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of required filings and notices Maintain accurate records and status updates for all estate matters Client Communication & Service Communicate with clients professionally, compassionately, and efficiently Serve as a primary point of contact for estate and probate clients Request and collect information and documents needed to administer estates and trusts Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their matters Schedule meetings, consultations, and document signing appointments Administrative & Legal Support Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and client communications Maintain electronic and physical client files Organize and manage document collection, scanning, and record retention Assist attorneys with calendar management and workflow coordination Monitor deadlines and workflow tasks to ensure matters progress efficiently Technology & Systems Utilize Clio case management software (or learn quickly with training provided) Enter and maintain accurate client and matter information Assist with file organization and workflow tracking Learn and effectively use legal technology tools and office software Qualifications Required Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or comparable legal support professional Familiarity with estate administration, probate, trust administration, or related legal processes Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Preferred Experience in North Carolina estate administration and probate matters Experience preparing probate filings, inventories, accountings, and related documents Experience with Clio or similar case management software Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience Experience in estate planning or trust administration Who Will Thrive Here?
