Legal Assistant/Paralegal Maynor Law Firm PLLC Red Springs, NC Job Details Full-time $16 - $23 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Microsoft Word Foreign language proficiency Immigration law Interpretation Immigration case experience Word embeddings Filing Legal administrative experience Clerical experience Full Job Description Responsibilities include: Interpreting for Spanish speaking clients; preparation of family-based petitions, asylum applications, naturalization applications, and other immigration petitions and applications; preparation of evidentiary submissions during immigration court (removal) cases; the preparation of client declarations; maintenance of the office calendar; Answering the telephones and confirming appointments; translating Spanish documents into English; copying documentation; processing incoming mail and packages; greeting, gathering information, and documentation from clients; Preparing criminal motions and orders; in-person filing of items with the (Robeson, Hoke, and Cumberland County) local district courts, Candidates also must: be fluent in English and Spanish, which is essential (this includes an ability to read, write, and speak in these languages) possess at least one year of experience as an Immigration Legal Assistant and/or a Paralegal or other office experience; focus great attention to detail; and have experience with Microsoft Word. Please include resume, writing sample, cover letter, and three references.
