Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dependable and professional Legal Assistant for Social Security Disability for the front desk to join their client's legal office in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. This long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of front desk or receptionist experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a positive, professional demeanor. Prior experience in a law office is preferred but not required. This role will support daily reception responsibilities while assisting with Social Security Disability case-related administrative tasks. Training will be provided on Caret Legal software. Responsibilities Greet visitors and manage front desk operations Answer and direct incoming calls Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars Prepare, organize, and file documents Provide administrative support for Social Security Disability cases Utilize Microsoft Office and legal case management software (training provided) Qualifications 3-5 years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional demeanor Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Legal office experience preferred Required Work Hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Additional Details Pay:
$18- 20/hour, depending on experience
