Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

Our Client in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a highly professional and experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team!
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Provides confidential administrative support to attorneys . Performs typing assignments, transcribes dictation involving legal terminology. Processes and oversees files, databases, records, certificates and other documents. Schedules appointments and performs other duties related to maintaining attorney schedules. Schedule and coordinate meetings and conferences, arranges for conferences and teleconferences.
Requirements:
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures Ability to create, compose and edit written communications and materials Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Prior Legal Administration experience, preferred. Must be well versed in preparing all types of legal documents and exhibits, and with e-filing with the courts.
