1. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial. 2. Conduct extensive legal research to gather relevant information for cases. 3. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses. 4. Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to discovery requests. 5. File pleadings and other court documents electronically and confirm their accuracy and completeness. 6. Assist in trial preparation by compiling, organizing, and summarizing evidence and other legal materials for use in court. 7. Coordinate and manage calendars, deadlines, and schedules to ensure all deadlines are met. 8. Act as a liaison between the trial team and third parties such as clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in civil litigation. 2. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Paralegal certification is highly preferred. 3. Extensive experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, filing, and trial preparation. 4. Proficiency in using legal databases and software for research, document review, and case management. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information. 6. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. 7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 8. Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems.
