Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise legal documents for estate-related matters, including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directive documents.
- Support attorneys throughout probate proceedings by assembling filings, submitting court paperwork, and helping move matters forward with appropriate agencies and court staff.
- Assist with trust and estate administration by organizing information on assets, tracking deadlines, and coordinating documentation needed for distributions and case progress.
- Maintain orderly physical and electronic case records so that documents are properly stored, easy to retrieve, and consistently updated.
- Compile meeting materials for attorneys and clients, including supporting documents, summaries, and other relevant information needed for productive discussions.
- Monitor multiple matters at once while keeping deadlines, document accuracy, and case status updates under close attention.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and external contacts to gather information, provide updates, and support ongoing legal work.
