This role is hands-on management of the full contract life cycle and all administrative duties for the department. The ideal candidate has experience reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts in a high-volume setting and possesses the ability to work with complex contract schedules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviews, redlines, negotiates, and finalizes a variety of contracts, subcontracts, work orders, and task orders Identifies and understands basic legal contractual risks, and is able to recommend redline changes to mitigate same Simultaneously manages several contracts at varying stages of the negotiation process Continually coordinates with multiple company departments throughout contract negotiations Completes and tracks multiple assignments each day while managing heavy e-mail and phone communication, database work, and administrative tasks as needed Collaborates with Accounting department as needed to prepare letters, EFT/ACH forms, and other documents Maintains departmental filing and tracking systems Generates and modifies reports and documents using Word, Excel, or Adobe as needed Assists Contracts and Legal departments in responding to subpoenas and providing other legal document support Completes online and hard-copy vendor forms and registrations to allow Clients and Suppliers to work with EMSL Works independently and within a team on special, non-recurring and ongoing projects Assist in all general administrative duties and other duties as required
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Five to seven years office experience in an contracts, insurance, or transaction position Prior contract negotiation experience required Skilled in verbal & written communication, customer service, time management, and decision-making Ability to interface with internal and external clients Proficient with computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe) Ability to create, manipulate and maintain databases Ability to organize and manage multiple projects Strong attention to detail and personal initiative Ability to produce error-free work and to adapt quickly to new work assignments and situations Reliable, on-time attendance
Available Shift:
Position is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cinnaminson, NJ are encouraged to apply.
