Job Description

The Paralegal provides assistance in the preparation and drafting of lease agreements, abstracting leases, lease administration, service agreements, event agreements, and related legal documents and to provide administrative support to the Legal Department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare initial draft and manage letters of intent, lease agreements, lease amendments and related documents for potential and current tenants Modify agreements and documents using both Word and PDF Lease administration, including tracking deadlines and lease provisions Abstracting leases Creating and maintaining lease review charts for key lease provisions Preparing and sending tenant notices Prepare event agreements and service agreements Prepare legal document binders for General Counsel Answer phones, open mail and place follow-up calls Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for the legal department
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience with a leasing emphasis preferred Experience in the preparation of lease agreements and/or related legal documents Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities Experience in MS Office, MS Excel and PDF formatting Exceptional organizational and communication skills American Dream is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment or discrimination.
