Job Description

Company Overview We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to provide high-level support to the firm's Equity Partner. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of legal experience , preferably within personal injury law , and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and case management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct administrative and legal support to the Equity Partner. Manage complex calendars, court deadlines, appointments, and case schedules. Draft, review, and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents. Maintain and organize case files, medical records, and litigation documents. Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, insurance carriers, and medical providers. Assist with trial preparation, deposition scheduling, and case management. Ensure compliance with court rules, filing deadlines, and firm procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred. Ideally experience in medical malpractice, but if not, a willingness to learn. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and can effectively support senior leadership while providing exceptional service to clients.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
