Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support intellectual property litigation and related legal operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Newark, Delaware. This role will work closely with in-house attorneys and external counsel to organize case materials, manage discovery-related documentation, and assist with deposition and trial preparation. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and the ability to coordinate effectively across legal and business teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal counsel and outside law firms to assemble records, business documents, and other materials needed for intellectual property disputes and active litigation matters.
  • Organize confidential case files, prepare supporting exhibits, and respond to attorney requests for documentation tied to ongoing legal proceedings.
  • Assist with Rule 30(b)(6) deposition readiness by coordinating witness materials, compiling exhibits, and facilitating review of testimony corrections for company representatives and employees.
  • Draft and distribute legal hold notices, confidentiality-related communications, and other litigation support documents to help meet preservation and discovery obligations.
  • Coordinate document collection efforts with internal stakeholders to support case strategy, discovery responses, and broader litigation preparation.
  • Contribute to intellectual property enforcement activities by supporting trademark screening, reviewing potential infringement issues, and assisting with brand protection efforts.
