Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Roseland, NJ 07068 Part-time Part-time Description Mandelbaum Salsburg, a prominent New Jersey law firm with over 75 attorneys, is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Paralegal (approximately 20 - 25 hours/week) responsible for assisting real estate attorneys in the Firm's Roseland office on commercial real estate transactions, loan transactions and leasing matters. Responsibilities will include reviewing title commitments, title exception documents and surveys and communicating with attorneys and title agents regarding title issues and assisting with the negotiation of title insurance policy coverage; reviewing corporate entity documents; assisting with diligence on commercial real estate closings; drafting and compiling transaction documents; preparing closing checklists and tracking completion of checklist items; preparing closing binders; and preparation and review of lease documents and lease abstracts. Requirements Candidate must have a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school or be a certified paralegal with 5+ years of experience working in commercial real estate with a focus on title, survey and leasing matters. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, be capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and be able to work well in a team oriented environment.
