Temp-to-Hire Manpower is recruiting for our local client, a well-established law firm, seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in Corporate Law . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of legal assistant experience , strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Client Relations Maintain professional and courteous relationships with clients. Protect and maintain confidential client information. Respond to client phone calls and emails promptly. Communicate effectively with clients to obtain information and keep attorneys informed of relevant matters. Administrative Support Prepare, manage, and organize legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently. File documents in a timely manner. Proofread legal documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting. Support attorneys with document preparation and case management. Time Management Prioritize workload based on deadlines and importance. Meet deadlines consistently and communicate proactively when challenges arise. Produce high-quality work in a timely manner. Professional Development Participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Maintain and enhance job knowledge through continuing education and professional development opportunities. Stay current on legal industry best practices and procedures. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Legal Assistant experience required. Corporate Law experience required. Strong document preparation, proofreading, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
