Job Description

Job Summary We are a client‑focused general practice law firm dedicated to providing compassionate, detail driven services. Our team values professionalism, empathy, and precision. We are seeking an experienced Estates Paralegal who thrives both working independently and in a collaborative environment and who takes pride in helping clients navigate some of life's most difficult transitions. The Estates Paralegal will support our attorneys in all aspects of estate planning, and estate and trust administration. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Draft estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and trusts Prepare probate and administration petitions, inventories, accountings, and related Surrogate's Court filings Assist with trust funding, beneficiary designations, and asset transfers Assist with various Surrogate's Court matters including Guardianships Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and court personnel in a professional and compassionate manner Maintain and organize client files, deadlines, and workflow Conduct legal and factual research as needed Support attorneys with case management and client follow‑up Coordinate execution of estate planning documents and notarize signatures (if applicable) Qualifications Prior experience in estate planning or estate administration required (2+ years preferred) Strong understanding of New York Surrogate's Court procedures Exceptional drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Professional communication skills and a client‑service mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Clio legal practice management software a plus Notary Public (or willingness to obtain) Please apply to join our team as an Estates Paralegal if you're passionate about supporting complex estate matters with precision and enthusiasm! Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
