Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist to join our high-volume law firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal professionals across a wide range of practice areas, including Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Elder Law, Estate Litigation, Guardianships and more. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage administrative tasks with precision, and assist with legal document preparation. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their legal administrative skills in a fast-paced environment that values organization, professionalism, and proactive support. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors warmly while maintaining professional etiquette ( sensitivity and discretion are essential ) Answer, route and manage incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and schedule appointments efficiently Light document typing using Microsoft programs Copying and scanning confidential legal documents and filing legal documents in office storage File legal documents, cases and correspondence with various courts and county clerk's office Daily transportation of office mailings to the local post office Prepare, proofread, and review legal documents and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks such as precise calendar management and meeting coordination. Experience Proven clerical or legal administrative experience within a law office environment Familiarity with Microsoft programs, Zoom and Outlook is necessary Experience handling a variety of practice areas including Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Elder Law, Estate Litigation, or Guardianship Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Demonstrated writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents accurately Ability to proofread meticulously and perform document review with precision Strong interpersonal skills to speak with clients as needed and provide exceptional customer service Fluent in Spanish is a plus This role offers an engaging environment where your organizational talents will directly contribute to the success of our legal team.
