Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practices, including real estate law, trust and estates, corporate law, litigation and more. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth case management and effective client communication. Duties Assist attorneys with organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines Manage and organize legal documents using document management system (iManage), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Assist attorneys with creating, formatting, revising, scanning and e-mailing legal documents Answer telephone calls, maintain client contact, schedule meetings Support litigation processes through document review, e-filing court documents accurately and maintaining case files Requirements Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with familiarity in multiple practice areas such as real estate, trust and estates planning, corporate law and litigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for drafting documents and managing data Experience with document management software, in particular, iManage is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly Knowledge of procedural law across different jurisdictions and familiarity with filing procedures Demonstrated ability to support multiple attorneys or teams simultaneously while adhering to deadlines Be a Notary Public or be willing to obtain a license upon hire Be willing to learn accounts payable and billing for redundancy purposes Join us in this rewarding role where your contributions directly impact the success of our legal services.
