Midtown Manhattan Salary:
$110K-$130K + comprehensive benefitsSchedule:
8:30am - 5:30pm; fully in-officeJob Duties:
- Draft, review, revise, and organize commercial leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, terminations, license agreements, access agreements, and related leasing documents.
- Prepare and coordinate ancillary leasing documents, including commencement date letters, tenant estoppels, SNDAs, notices, guaranties, and other transaction related agreements.
- Manage redlines and document versions, coordinating comments and revisions among attorneys, leasing teams, property management, tenants, brokers, and outside counsel.
- Track lease status, critical dates, execution requirements, renewal options, expansion rights, termination rights, insurance requirements, and other key obligations.
- Review lease abstracts and maintain accurate leasing files, document management systems, and transaction checklists.
- Assist with due diligence, including entity review, authority documentation, title related materials, UCC searches, and closing deliverables as needed.
- Support internal reporting by preparing status updates, summaries, and follow-up items for legal, leasing, and management teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all documents are handled with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Requirements Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of transactional paralegal experience, preferably with a focus on commercial real estate leasing.
- Experience with landlord-side commercial leasing strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease provisions, amendments, renewals, SNDAs, estoppels, guaranties, and related leasing documents.
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
