Full Job Description Job Summary:

Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to handle auto accident cases.

You Will:

• Interview and maintain contact with clients throughout the case;
• Conduct case investigations and document management;
• Enter Cases into the Firm's database, Smart Advocate;
• Establish and manage claims: No-Fault, Bodily Injury, Lost Wages & Property Damage;
• Process medical/hospital bills & liens/loans;
• Ensure HIPAA compliance;
• Schedule & follow up on client medical appointments & IME;
• Request treatment updates & medical records;
• Answer/rout incoming calls & provide up-to-date case status;
• Draft letters, forms, and correspondence to insurance companies, providers and clients;
• Electronically file documents, NYSCEF.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Paralegal experience in personal injury/auto accident cases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Excellent client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Spanish Speaking a plus.
• Knowledge of Smart Advocate a plus.
