Job Summary Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Receptionist. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, managing client communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, technical proficiency, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Duties Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports with high accuracy and attention to detail Maintain organized files and records both electronically and physically, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality Handle data entry tasks accurately using spreadsheets and productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Assist with office management duties including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars for attorneys Support client communication by providing excellent customer service and timely updates on case progress or administrative matters Utilize QuickBooks for basic financial record keeping related to billing or expenses as needed Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Typing and document drafting Personal assistant or legal secretary experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
