This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support skills within a fast-paced environment, working closely with experienced attorneys and legal professionals. You will be instrumental in managing timely processing of payments, and strong support for our attorneys during hearing preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, numbers-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control review of data entered by virtual assistants, ensuring accuracy and consistency across case files and billing records Log provider payments and disburse firm fees in accordance with firm procedures and applicable timelines Reconcile payment records and flag discrepancies for resolution Assist department attorneys in preparing for arbitration hearings by gathering, organizing, and verifying supporting documentation and information Track outstanding balances, payment statuses, and collection deadlines Communicate with providers, insurers, and internal staff as needed to resolve payment or data issues Identify recurring data-entry errors and provide feedback or training support to virtual assistants Qualifications Prior experience in No-Fault insurance, arbitration, collections, or a legal billing environment preferred but not necessary Strong attention to detail and comfort auditing others' work Proficiency with data entry systems, spreadsheets, and case management software Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently while supporting a team of attorneys under deadline pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
