Legal Assistant - Uniondale, New York Founded in the 1970's, we are a full-service law firm that focuses on civil litigation, banking and finance, insurance defense, construction, and energy (amongst others), with offices in six states and 75 attorneys. What we

Job duties: Work onsite in Uniondale M-F 9am to 5pm. The Legal Assistant will provide litigation support to our commercial loans and banking team. Organize and catalogue documents pertinent to transaction closings. Draft supporting loan documents, reports, memoranda and correspondence. Maintain filing system, ensuring accessibility completeness and accuracy of the database. Draft routine correspondence and transmittal letters. Enter billing information, maintain time records, and assist with invoicing as needed. Format, proofread, and revise legal documents related to lending transactions.
Required:
Recent experience as a Legal Assistant You should know some of the following:
