This is an entry-level position , and prior legal experience is not required. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training and a clear pathway to develop professional skills, gain valuable real estate and legal experience, and grow within the firm. Responsibilities In this role, you will handle a diverse mix of administrative, clerical, and legal support duties, including:
Office Operations:
Answer and direct high-volume phone calls; greet clients and visitors; perform filing, scanning, copying, and general clerical organization.
Document Delivery & Travel:
Perform local bank runs and deliver closing documents throughout Westchester County, with occasional travel to Rockland County, Queens, and Riverdale.
Professional Communication:
Liaise professionally via phone and email with clients, borrowers, attorneys, brokers, lenders, and real estate professionals.
Team Support:
Assist attorneys and staff with day-to-day operational needs and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Experience:
Entry-level. No prior legal experience required.
Tech Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Transportation:
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, clean driving record, and comfort driving locally throughout Westchester and surrounding regions.
Key Traits:
High attention to detail, strong organization, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
