Job Description

We are a highly regarded, client-centered law firm concentrating in real estate, probate and estate administration, estate litigation, estate planning, elder law, personal injury, and business law. Our firm assists individuals and families in protecting assets, planning for incapacity, navigating probate and trust administration, and resolving related legal matters with clarity and compassion. We are seeking a detail-driven and proactive Real Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant with at a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant law firm experience and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, document-intensive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working closely with attorneys on sophisticated client matters and who takes pride in producing polished, accurate work product.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise contracts, correspondence, memoranda, and formal legal documentation in
REAL ESTATE
MATTERS, including purchases and sales, and in connection with transfers for estate planning purposes Manage document workflows from initial intake through execution Coordinate client meetings, document signings, notarizations, and witnessing procedures Maintain organized digital and physical client files in compliance with firm protocols Track deadlines, follow-ups, and court-related timelines Conduct limited legal and factual research to support client matters Communicate professionally with clients, financial advisors, care managers, and other professionals
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years experience in a real estate law firm Strong written communication skills with experience preparing formal documents Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word formatting proficiency required) Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously with minimal supervision Notary Public preferred (or willingness to obtain)
