Legal experience is required. Litigation experience and ability to type from transcription is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience and ability. Legal assistant will support 1 to 3 attorneys/paralegals. Job duties include, but not limited to, typing pleadings, letters and case specific documents; creating or searching for documents in electronic document management system; electronically filing documents with various courts in and outside of Ohio; time entry into billing system; preparing and revising bills; submitting bills to clients under various electronic billing systems; opening files and performing conflict checks in firm system; communicating with court representatives, clients and witnesses on case specific matters; scheduling and maintaining calendars for attorneys; preparing summary of data reports; coordinating with external vendors on case specific tasks. Must be proficient in Windows applications (Word, Office, Excel). No phone calls please.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
