Experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and ability. Job duties include, but not limited to, preliminary drafting of discovery, affidavits, correspondence and other documents under supervision of attorneys; organizing and maintaining documents in paper and electronic filing systems; meeting with clients, attorneys and other professionals to discuss case details; helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed; investigating facts and searching public records and social media as needed; analyzing, summarizing and maintaining documents received during discovery; interacting with individual and institutional clients to gather, review, organize and track documents in response to discovery requests.
Job requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ShareFile Possess strong oral and written communication skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Possess exceptional organizational skills Able to effectively multi-task, prioritize and manage time-sensitive projects and tasks Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion Able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
