Job Description

Creditors' rights law firm located in Milford, OH area is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We encourage entry level candidates to apply as we will provide full paid training to build success for the chosen candidate. Our firm services creditors' matters across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee (and will soon be expanding to Illinois). Candidates with experience handling pre-judgment matters including e-filing, paper filing, and skip tracing are encouraged to apply. Our firm is a team environment with a friendly and collaborative atmosphere to drive the best results for our clients. We work in a high volume environment so applicants should be willing and able to manage various different tasks simultaneously in a professional manner. The chosen applicant for this position will work closely with the Pre-Judgment Paralegal Manager, our attorneys, and other team members to strategize, plan, and handle necessary tasks.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Drafting complaints, motions and discovery Facilitating and monitoring service of process Monitoring statutes of limitation Data analysis, organization and reporting for our various clients Communicating with court personnel Assisting attorneys with their day to day obligations
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required 2+ years of prior clerical office work, data entry and analysis, and/or paralegal experience preferred but not required Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and able to work well in teams
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on the quality of the candidate and experience.

Our office is open Mon-Fri, 8am - 5:30pm. We can work with the chosen candidate to create a schedule of 30-40 hours per week within our normal office hours.
