Our firm practices general business law with a focus on corporate transactions, oil & gas, and estate planning. We are a growing firm that pairs sophisticated legal work with a genuinely client-first culture, and we are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming, organized, initial point of contact for the clients we serve.WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is a front-office and client support position at the heart of our daily operations. You will be the first voice clients hear and a steady hand keeping the office running smoothly. If you are personable, detail-oriented, and take pride in making people feel taken care of, this role is for you. As a Legal Administrative Assistant at CLF, you will: Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth. Schedule client meetings, consultations, and internal appointments, and manage attorney calendars. Guide new clients through the onboarding process, including intake paperwork, engagement documents, and initial information gathering. Order and maintain office supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed. Support the attorneys with general administrative tasks, correspondence, and file organization. Help keep the office environment organized, professional, and running efficiently day to day.HIRING CRITERIA
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills, with a client-first attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm under a busy schedule.
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office suite, Google email and calendars, Adobe Acrobat, and related) and a willingness to learn our practice management tools.
- Prior administrative, front desk, or client-facing experience preferred; experience in a legal or professional services office is a plus.
- Discretion and reliability, given the confidential nature of legal work.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual Base Salary:
$40,000 to $48,000 commensurate with experience.Comprehensive Benefits Package:
