! Legal Assistant- Family Law 📍 Camp Hill ,PA/ Harrisburg, PA A well-established family law practice in Harrisburg is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling a broad range of domestic relations matters.
What You'll Do:
- Support attorneys in family law matters including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, and adoption
- Assist with mediations, depositions, and settlement conferences
- Prepare for trials and appeals, including organizing documentation and exhibits
- File court documents and manage deadlines, calendars, and docketing updates
- Work with Common Pleas Court and Superior Court filings and procedures
- Coordinate with Orphan's Court, Prothonotary's Office, and Children & Youth Services
- Assist with welfare proceedings and related family court matters
- Communicate and collaborate with judges' offices and court personnel as needed
- Provide general administrative and legal support to attorneys
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive family matters with discretion
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of legal assistant (family law strongly preferred)
- Strong familiarity with Pennsylvania court systems and procedures
- Experience with trial preparation, mediation, and deposition support
- Highly organized with strong attention to deadlines and detail
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to ask clarifying questions when needed
