Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case progression and effective client communication. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury cases, including case intake, investigation, and documentation. Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence. Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accurate filing and organization. Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information and evidence for cases. Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties to facilitate case development. Prepare case summaries, timelines, and reports for attorney review to ensure timely progression of litigation processes. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling all aspects of legal administrative support with professionalism. Support litigation activities including document review, trial preparation, and civil litigation support as needed. Communicate effectively with clients via phone or email to provide updates and gather necessary information throughout the case lifecycle. Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or related litigation fields. Strong knowledge of procedural law, civil litigation support, and legal case management practices. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with Westlaw is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Skilled in drafting legal documents with attention to detail; proofreading is essential. Experience using document management systems like iManage or PCLaw for efficient file handling. Effective client communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining compliance with legal standards. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks; experience with legal writing is a plus. Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law or general & commercial litigation is advantageous but not mandatory.
