A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Manage all aspects of estate administration from opening through closing.
- Prepare probate petitions, inventories, accounts, inheritance tax returns, receipts and releases, and related court filings.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Gather and organize financial information and asset documentation.
- Prepare estate accountings and reconcile estate bank accounts.
- Assist with distributions and closing estates.
- Maintain accurate case files and monitor deadlines.
- Work closely with attorneys to ensure matters are handled efficiently and accurately. Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of estate administration experience preferred.
- Experience preparing estate accountings and working with estate finances is required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Who You Are
