About Us :
We are Ament Law Group, a growing Murrysville-based law firm with over fifty years of experience representing clients across Westmoreland, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Fayette Counties. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our clients in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Business Planning.
The Position :
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Estate Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a foundational role with significant room for professional growth and advancement. Whether you already have some experience in a law office or are an administrative professional looking to transition into the legal field, we are willing to train the right candidate to take on increasingly complex, substantive paralegal duties over time.
General Duties :
Coordinate and schedule client meetings, managing the master Estate Calendar. Assist attorneys with the preparation and formatting of estate planning documents. Attend document execution meetings, serve as a witness, and manage all post-meeting follow-ups and mailings. Attend Estate Administration meetings and take detailed, accurate notes. Draft basic petitions, court forms, and routine correspondence with clients. Provide support in gathering information for Inheritance Tax Returns (REV-1500), Inventories, and other miscellaneous filings. Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as needed to keep the office running smoothly.

You have a sharp eye for accuracy in documents and scheduling.
Customer Service Focused:
You are welcoming, professional, and comfortable interacting directly with clients during sensitive life transitions.
Adaptable:
You can easily multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work well under pressure.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; previous exposure to Lackner is a major plus, though we will train the right person.
Experience & Requirements :
1+ years of administrative or customer service experience (Required). 1+ years of experience in a law firm or estate practice (Preferred, but not required). Experience with drafting legal documents or preparing tax forms (e.g., REV-1500) is highly desirable, but we offer on-the-job training for candidates eager to learn.
Salary :
Commensurate with experience.
