Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal matters, with a focus on family law, estate planning, and civil litigation. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage documents effectively, and proficiency in legal research and writing. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office. Telephone skills, organization, and following templates are imperative. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research and do legal writing to support case preparation and strategy. Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, including contracts, motions, complaints, and estate planning documents. Manage document management systems to ensure all files are organized and accessible. Review and summarize case files, highlighting key information for attorneys. Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates and document requests. Prepare exhibits and evidence for court proceedings as needed. Assist in trial preparation by organizing materials and coordinating schedules. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing attorney calendars. Experience Previous experience in a law office setting is desirable, particularly in family law, civil litigation, and/ or estate planning. Familiarity with document management systems is highly desirable. Strong skills in legal research and writing are essential for success in this role. Highly motivated and looking for a career in the law. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
