Job Description

Archer & Greiner, P.C., ("Archer"), one of the region's leading full-service law firms, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys working in our Labor & Employment and Business Litigation Practice Groups in our Philadelphia, PA office. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position provides an opportunity to work across two dynamic practice areas and support attorneys handling a diverse range of matters, from day-to-day labor and employment advice and administrative proceedings to complex business disputes in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate is an experienced legal administrative professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, format, edit and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and other materials. File documents through the electronic court-filing systems for United States District Court, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, conference calls, depositions, hearings, and court appearances. Track case deadlines, filing requirements, and other critical dates and ensure timely completion of related tasks. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, administrative agencies, and other outside contacts. Open, close, organize and maintain physical and electronic case files in accordance with firm procedures. Provide administrative support, including client billing, expense reporting, and other related financial and operational tasks. Anticipate attorneys' needs, take initiative, and help ensure the efficient day-to-day management of assigned matters. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Qualifications:
At least three years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, litigation experience preferred. Experience with electronic filing in federal and state courts, including the United States District Court and Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software. Strong organizational, communication, proofreading, and time-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues. Professional, dependable, and service-oriented approach. Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Archer offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience.
