Wespath's Legal Services team has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant - Legal Services. The Administrative Assistant - Legal Services supports the Legal Services Department, which includes the company's legal, compliance and internal audit teams. This position will be responsible for performing, coordinating, and overseeing a full range of administrative duties for the Department, including providing direct administrative support to attorneys and compliance team leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(The following are intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this position. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.) Provide legal administrative support to Department attorneys, including drafting and editing a variety of legal documents, such as correspondence, contracts, memoranda, and presentation decks. These tasks may require advanced Microsoft Office application skills. Maintain the process documentation library which includes checking documentation in and out and responding to questions regarding the related procedures. Complete monthly compliance reporting responsibilities. Assisting in preparation of compliance and audit reports and other materials. Provide general administrative support to team members of the Legal Services Department, including maintenance of calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, completing travel arrangements, and other similar administrative support. paid holidays. Hybrid working arrangement The compensation range for this position is $64,000 - $80,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown. #LI-CW1 #
LI-hybrid Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent. 3-5 years of administrative support experience supporting multiple professionals. Advanced oral and written communication skills. Expert skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to navigate between multiple applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or associate's degree. 2+ years in a corporate legal department or law firm. Familiarity with legal and corporate documents, such as contracts, litigation files, minutes, and resolutions.
