A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

While legal experience is a bonus, it is not required for this position.Key Responsibilities:
Case Management- File Management
- Maintain well-organized and accurate case files within the file management system, ensuring all documents are properly labeled, up-to-date, and easily retrievable when needed. Communication
- Communicate professionally with clients. Data Entry
- Enter and manage client databases, case files, and other relevant information within the file management system. General Office Support
- Providing general administrative support such as mailing correspondence, summarizing meeting notes, coordinating schedules, and managing emails.
Skills Required:
Organizational Mastery- Proven ability to manage multiple cases, documents, and tasks simultaneously with a structured, systematic approach. Superior Writing and Editing Skills
- Strong grammar and spelling; able to draft professional communications and legal documents with clarity and accuracy. Exceptional Time Management
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume work environment. Attention to Detail
- Demonstrated commitment to precision in all tasks—whether reviewing contracts or organizing case files. Technology Proficiency
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and willingness to learn legal practice management software. Professional Communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable interacting with internal teams and external clients. Confidentiality & Discretion
