Responsibilities Manage and organize legal documents, case files, and correspondence using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw. Conduct thorough legal research across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and general litigation. Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Support case preparation through document review, proofreading, and summarization to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedural laws. Coordinate client interviews, maintain effective communication channels, and handle confidential information with integrity. Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather relevant case law and statutory information. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling phone inquiries with professionalism. Support litigation processes by organizing evidence, filing documents with courts, and tracking case deadlines. Assist in project management tasks related to complex legal matters across multiple practice areas. Requirements Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a fast-paced law office environment. Strong knowledge of procedural law, civil litigation support, and document management systems such as iManage or Westlaw. Familiarity primarily in the areas of Estate planning, probate, tax planning, commercial transactions, banking, and entity formation and organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with legal writing and drafting capabilities. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Attention to detail for proofreading documents and ensuring accuracy in all work products. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
