The Opportunity Join our Employment Single Action team and help advocate for employees facing wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace violations. As a Legal Assistant, you will work closely with attorneys and partners throughout every stage of litigation. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who can confidently manage a high-volume caseload, stay ahead of critical deadlines, and provide responsive support to both clients and the litigation team. This is a hybrid position that may be based in Los Angeles, Torrance, Irvine, Oakland, San Diego, or Sacramento. What You'll Do Support attorneys through all phases of employment litigation Calendar and track court dates, filing deadlines, and case milestones Prepare and finalize documents for filing in state and federal courts Assist with discovery, pleadings, complaints, motions, and notices Communicate professionally with clients, experts, courts, and opposing counsel Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic case files Assist with trial preparation as needed What We're Looking For At least two years of Legal Assistant experience in employment litigation Experience with wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or related FEHA matters Working knowledge of California court rules, litigation procedures, and e-filing Ability to draft, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents Strong calendaring, organizational, and case-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume, paperless environment Trial preparation experience is a plus Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM Compensation $52,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience.
