You will be responsible for keeping our attorney on task and ensuring cases progress. As a vital member of our team, you will assist the attorney in managing case files, drafting documents, and providing exceptional client communication. Our new team member must be able to work with and manage strong personalities within an energetic office environment. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case management across various practice areas such as divorces, custody, guardianships, criminal charges, traffic tickets, and general litigation. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, memos, emails, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage document review and case organization using various software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all documents and communication. Handle client communication professionally via phone and written correspondence, ensuring timely updates and information gathering. Maintain meticulous records of case files, court deadlines, and procedural steps using PracticePanther case management software. Perform data entry, proofreading, transcription, and filing duties to uphold high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing legal matters or firm initiatives to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Experience Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with clients and courts OR willingness to learn. Experience handling confidential information with discretion while maintaining professionalism in client interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with other necessary law office software OR willingness to learn. Knowledge of legal procedures related to Arkansas Family and Criminal Law, as well as litigation support, is highly desirable.
