Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy legal team in Seattle. This position is well suited for someone who is detail oriented and can manage litigation support duties across multiple matters while maintaining accuracy and strong organization. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a range of disputes, with preference for candidates who have worked in commercial and construction-related litigation.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate litigation support for as many as three attorneys, ensuring deadlines, filings, and case materials are handled efficiently.
  • Prepare, file, and track court documents in both state and federal courts using electronic filing systems.
  • Maintain litigation calendars by monitoring hearings, filing dates, discovery schedules, and other case deadlines.
  • Review and proofread pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents for grammar, formatting, and consistency.
  • Organize, draft, and manage discovery materials, including document production, responses, and related case records.
  • Assemble and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation so attorneys have timely access to matter information.
  • Communicate with courts, clients, and outside parties as needed to support the progress of active litigation matters.
